Stopping your 4 legged friends seizures in their tracks

I+ any of you have a 4 legged friend suffering from seizures then you know how scary they are for both us and our pets. We take them to the vet to be sent home with scripts for Valium, Potassium Bromide or phenobarbital and a list a mile long of side effects to these meds. My Chihuahua began having Grand Mal seizures when he was 6 months old. I was horrified watching my little put suffer. The vet wanted me to have him euthanized. That vet was fired pretty quick. He had 4 bad seizures that 1st night so, I began medicating him with Potassium Bromide. He continued to have a couple seizures a week, slept 22 hours a day and when he was awake was lethargic and kept falling down. He had no quality of life and neither did my family since, we would take turns watching him 24/7 to make sure he didn't seize and hurt himself. I knew there had to be a better way to treat him. I began to research herbs, roots, flowers and making my own herbal tincture. I tried several different elixirs before finding 1 that worked. A Passion flower, chamomile, jasmine and Bach Flower Tincture.works with dried or fresherbs. Crush the herbs to release the oils mix the herbs can be soaked in a clear alcohol (vodka is my choice) for several days, drain and discard the herbs put liquid
in the refrigerator for up to 6 months or you can boil 1/2 cup distilled water with the herbs for 4 to 5 minutes drain and discard the herbs add 2 tablespoons organic honey bring to a boil again, boil till liquid reduces half store in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. Give 1/2 tsp. for small dogs 1 tsp. for larger dogs. Once a day. If they are having a seizure using an eye dropper or syringe squeeze half the dropper full into the corner of their mouth, rubbing throat to prevent choking. Seizure should stop if not give remainder of syringe. My Chihuahua went from 2 seizures a week to 1 a year.
